Paste Papers Workshop
As well as workshops in traditional bookbinding, I also run workshops that compliment the skills you learn in my bookbinding lessons, allowing you to take your book-making abilities onto the next level! 🙂
This “Make Your Own Paste Papers” workshop is a perfect complement to any of my other bookbinding courses. Hand decorated paste papers have been used for endpapers and cover sidings since the 16th century. These beautifully patterned papers are deceptively simple to create and very addictive!
Make up paste in the colours of your choice and decorate papers using a number of techniques; using combs, your fingers or printing, ready to use on your future book and box projects.
This promises to be a fun day’s crafting – my first “Make Your Own Paste Papers” workshop of the year is on February 17th at my bookbinding studio in Barnstaple, you can view the full details here.
