The Great Wave Wrapping Paper

A design from the British museum collection featuring the 1831 great wave of Hokusai’s woodblock print.

The full title of the artwork is The Great Wave off Kanagawa. This image is the first in a series of thirty-six views of Mount Fuji by Katsushika Hokusai. A giant rogue wave is caught in the terrifying moment of suspension the moment before it engulfs the poor fishermen in the boats below. It’s easy to see why this dramatic image has become so iconic.

All wrapping paper is supplied rolled in a strong postage tube to avoid creases and folds.
